Dafen Primary School caters for children with ages ranging from 3-11 years.  At present, there are approximately 126 children on the roll.  The school was built in 1938and is situated in Lon Yr Ysgol, a cul-de-sac away from main road traffic.  The building contains spacious classrooms in which carefully structured learning is organised.  Its location offers the children varied environmental experiences – rural, urban and marine studies.  Visits to different localities are organised so the children appreciate their heritage, take pride in the environment and learn of the contributions of the contrasting areas to a rich and fulfilling way of growing up.
