Castles in the Sky – Update
Due to feedback from potential sponsors of the event, we have rescheduled the Castles in the Sky art trail to the summer of 2024. This is partly due to the current economic climate, as many businesses are revising their financial strategies. We also feel that the recent announcement of redevelopment works within Swansea, starting this summer, will have an impact on the trail.
With the art trail being deferred for twelve months, the extension of the project offers us exciting opportunities to further develop the educational programme for schools and create an even bigger and better experience for you, our supporters, artists, and the wider community.
Those individuals and organisations who are already actively involved and committed to Castles in the Sky are supportive of this extension and are equally excited by the opportunities that lay ahead.
Our commitment is stronger than ever to make the public art trail an enormous success in 2024. It offers a significant opportunity to raise funds for the Wales Air Ambulance Charity while promoting their lifesaving work through businesses, schools, and the public in general.
We know that with your support, we can make it a huge success.
The art trail will now take place between Saturday 6th July and Sunday 15th September 2024.
For students within the schools and all our artists, the opportunity to design and decorate their castle sculptures will still be available this year.
